Good Morning to all. I hope it's another beautiful Sunday for y'all...it sure is here.
We've been working hard in the backyard garden. Hopefully, those will be next Sunday's photos.
We've been having lots of fun with the neighbors and those are my favorite pics this week.
KATIEEEEEE...Is anybody there???? Can I come play?" If she doesn't get a response, she yells, "Katie's mom, can I come GARDEN???" It always makes me laugh. She (and her brothers) has become my gardening buddy. My neighbors and I have been spending time in each other's gardens and living out "Passalong Plants", which I am currently reading.
Peyton and Andrea spent more time in the hammock (and looking for snacks!) than
pulling weeds! :)

pulling weeds! :)

Funny, my kids spend more time looking for snacks than pulling weeds too, a lot more.
Very cute! My 18 month old says 'pansy, and rose' and my 3 year old 'shows people around the garden'... Think I've indoctrinated them? Poor things.
Help in the garden is welcome, especially with weeds...lol! Your new acquisition looks wonderful there!
How did I miss adding you?? Just did so and hope you will also.
Kids in the garden, who can resist them? Love your new plant and so did the ancient Greeks. ;-)
Very cute garden "helpers" you have there! :-)
They're absolutely great kids! I just bestowed upon them their very own watering cans. They asked if they can decorate them and I said, "You bet!". The only rule is if they fill them in the house, the cans can only be half full and they half to wipe the bottom!
Love the girly pictures, and the acanthus is just lovely. So vibrant and green. Your life is just filled with blessings!
Late visitor for GTS!
Pretty roses too!
Sometimes the acanthus is sold as 'Greek Pattern Plant'. I don't have one, but saw a huge plant growing in the shady garden of M Sinclair Stevens [Zanthan Gardens blog]. Yours look great on the shaded porch, Chris.
Annie
Annie, my acanthus is growing rapidly. I'm beginning to wonder if the flower spikes are going to hit the ceiling!!!
